Spaciousness

The land is good first of all in its spaciousness. In Exodus 3:8 the Lord says, “And I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land to a good and spacious land…”(emphasis added). Christ, as the reality of the good land is universally extensive. In Ephesians 3:18 Paul describes the limitless dimensions of Christ simply as the breadth and length and height and depth. This signifies that Christ is so vast that we can never exhaust Him. He is unsearchably rich (Eph. 3:8). Our human patience, love, and wisdom are finite, hence limited. Christ’s virtues are limitless, inexhaustible. May we be faithful to explore more of the vast expanse of our rich Christ. (Witness Lee, All-Inclusive Christ, 22-26)
